The SAB Training Endorsement Process (STEP is outlined here:
SAB advocates 'face-to-face' training, but we recognise that this is not always possible. To support our partners, we offer a variety of safeguarding courses which can be accessed via our online ME Learning system.
There are now 31 courses to access online and lots of courses are relevant to Adults Services including:
Safeguarding Adults - Level 1
SCC - Care Act Introduction and Overview
SCC - Care Act Safeguarding Duties and Responsibilities
SCC - Care Act Information and Advice
Mental Capacity Act
Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards
The Prevent Duty
Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking
All courses are accessed by delegates logging on to the system. A certificate is automatically generated upon passing the test which can then be printed and used as evidence of learning.
To access the ME Learning system - send an email with your name, job title and location to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will then be emailed a link to the system with an ID and password.
