Suffolk SAB Framework - Train the Trainer Events

The Suffolk Safeguarding Adults Framework is now published. To ensure that this is fully embedded within practice we have initially set up 3 Train the Trainer sessions across Suffolk to train one member of each organisation who will then be responsible for training staff within that organisation.

Attendance is by invitation only as a maximum of 18 places have been agreed at each session to ensure that the facilitators have sufficient time to spend with participants so that they feel confident in delivering training.

Dates of Suffolk Safeguarding Adults Framework Train the Trainer Events are as follows:

  1. Train the Trainer Session 1 - 3rd April, 9:30am to 12:30pm - Landmark House, Ipswich

  2. Train the Trainer Session 2 - 8th April, 1pm to 4pm - West Suffolk House, Bury St Edmunds

  3. Train the Trainer Session 3 - 1st May, 9:30 to 12:30pm – Kirkley Centre, Lowestoft

All training materials required by the participants attending these sessions are able to be downloaded below:

Joint Safeguarding Event for Faith Group Leaders

Thursday 4th July 2019

Following on from the successful Safeguarding Event for Norfolk and Suffolk Faith Group Leaders in 2018, we are again planning a joint event with Norfolk LSCB but this time we'll also be joined by Norfolk and Suffolk Safeguarding Adults Boards.

The event is taking place on Thursday 4th July at Park Hotel, Diss.

A planning meeting took place on 11th March with some key members of the Faith community to discuss the programme and look at the learning from last year's event.
