Making Safeguarding Personal Events

This free event is hosted by partners from the Suffolk Safeguarding Partnership and focusses on how we make safeguarding personal and use a ‘think family’ approach when working with adults at risk.

The SSP will be hosting a stall at this years Suffolk Show. Come along to learn more about the Partnership, who’s in it, and the work we do.

Suffolk Safeguarding Adults Framework - Train the Trainer Events

The Suffolk Safeguarding Adults Framework is now published. To ensure that this is fully embedded within practice, we arranged for further Train-the-Trainer sessions to take place across Suffolk to train one member of each organisation who will then be responsible for training staff within that organisation.

Making Safeguarding Adults Your Business Conference

Wednesday 13th February 2019

This one day conference at Police HQ, Martlesham, updated practitioners on key developments following the Independent Review of Safeguarding Adults in Suffolk. We also looked at how we can all work more collaboratively to support adults at risk in Suffolk.

Following consultation with staff across the partnership the Suffolk Safeguarding Adults Framework, SAB Vision and Adult Safeguarding Journey were launched at the conference.

Self-Neglect and Hoarding Conference

Tuesday 6th November 2018

A countywide learning event which brought together key note speakers on topics associated with self-neglect and hoarding, was held on Tuesday 6th November 2018 at Trinity Park, Ipswich.
